Kansas City Area Archivists (KCAA) - through its publications, programming, and awards strives to provide an atmosphere of cooperation and coordination among it members to enliven and support the availability, collection, and preservation of historical records
Louisiana Archives and Manuscripts Association (LAMA) - promotes the role of archives in the preservation of our national, state, and local heritage by cooperating with Louisiana's public and private archival repositories in their work of collecting, conserving, and making accessible to the public manuscript, printed, graphic arts, and audio materials of historical significance
Midwest Archives Conference (MAC) - region is the twelve heartland states: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Ohio and Wisconsin, but there are also many members from elsewhere
Mid-Atlantic Regional Archives Conference (MARAC) - volunteer, regional consortium of individuals who live and work in the individual states of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, and West Virginia, and the District of Columbia
New England Archivists - six states are Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont
Northwest Archivists - regional association of professional archivists, users of archives, and others interested in the preservation and use of archival materials in the Pacific Northwest United States, including Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington
Society of California Archivists - devoted to the support and development of individuals and institutions that collect, care for, and provide access to the documentary heritage of California and adjoining areas
Society of Florida Archivists (SFA) - individuals and institutions who share a concern for the identification, preservation, and use of records of historical value
Society of Southwest Archivists (SSA) - six states included are Arizona, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Texas, but there also members from elsewhere
