Pound Dogs
The best dogs come from the pound. It does take a bit of courage to forge ahead and get a dog with no known background or breed habits. But what you get is pure dog: the old fashioned variety that will love you unreservedly (whether you deserve it or not.)
Traer Scott recently published a book of photos of pound dogs, entitled Shelter Dogs
Lula, the insane, came from the Orange County animal shelter. She was found at six weeks old sitting all by herself by the side of the road. That was probably the last time that she ever sat still.
css tips and traps:
- use mozilla/firefox for testing
- install the web developer extension in firefox
- validate your html before you try to validate your css
- if you are checking your page in IE, be sure that you are viewing it at the server url <http://www.ils.unc.edu/~youronyen> not on the c: drive!
- punctuation counts!
- no extra spaces anywhere in the css rules!
- close your tags and especially the <div> tags
- check for semicolons at the end of each property in your styles.
- spelling counts too. If something is not recognized, shcek the properties name at w3c css reference
- remember to sleep.
