Sarah Gransee will lead us in a discussion of the changing attitudes of public libraries. It's interesting that much of the public still thinks of libraries as deadly silent buildings, when many libraries are vibrant and, often, full of noise. This will be a session about what the public expects and wants, and how that's changed.
Changing Attitudes: Stereotypes of Librarians. Who are we, and who do we want them to think we are?
The class discussion will focus on stereotypes of librarians and libraries, as well as attitudes towards the profession. If you haven't taken one before, think about taking a quick personality quiz - it's fun, too!
