Sampling
- Random Sampling and Statistical Accuracy provides a good overview of sampling concepts without going into exhaustive detail, and provides a convenient sampling calculator.
- Arteology: Sampling—Somewhat more detailed and theoretical than the previous site, in that this site is directed more towards explaining sampling in and of itself than as a quick stop while designing a survey.
- Hyperstat Online Textbook—A refresher course on statistics, including tutorials, links to other resources and statistical software, book suggestions, and explanations of everything from biased samples to measuring effect size.
- Selecting Representative Samples is a quick-and-dirty primer from the Utah State University Extension's Community Needs Assessment Research Guide.
- The Research Randomizer uses a JavaScript random number generator to create custom sets of randomized numbers for researchers who need to perform a random sample.
