Directions
Jordan Lake State Recreation Area is located in Chatham County, 21 miles southwest of Raleigh off US 64, and can be reached via NC 751 or US 15-501 from Durham and Chapel Hill.

To park office
Traveling west or east on I-40 from Raleigh, exit onto US 1/US 64 west (exit 293A, Sanford/Asheboro). Take the US 64 exit (exit 98B) and travel west. The park office will be on the left just before the bridge over Jordan Lake.

Traveling east on I-40 from Greensboro, take exit 274, NC 751/Jordan Lake, go south on 751 and turn right onto US 64 to travel west. The park office will be on the left just before the bridge over Jordan Lake.

Directions to park sections

Crosswinds Campground
To reach Crosswinds Campground traveling west on US 64, turn right (north) onto Farrington Road/SR 1008. This intersection, with two gas stations across from each other, is called Wilsonville. The Crosswinds Campground entrance is a half mile on the right.

To reach the campground traveling east on US 64, turn left onto Farrington Road at the first traffic light after the lake at the Wilsonville intersection. The Crosswinds Campground entrance is a half mile on the right.

Ebenezer Church
To reach Ebenezer Church from US 64, at Wilsonville, turn south on Beaver Creek Road/SR1008. The park entrance is approximately two miles on the right.

New Hope Overlook
From US 64, turn south on Beaver Creek Road/SR1008. After passing Ebenezer Recreation Area, turn right onto Pea Ridge Road and follow the signs to the park entrance, which is on the right.

Parkers Creek
The entrance to Parkers Creek is on US 64. Traveling west on US 64, go over the bridge on Jordan Lake. The entrance is on the right. Traveling east on US 64, the Parkers Creek entrance is the first left after seeing lake.

Seaforth
The entrance to Seaforth is on US 64. Traveling west on US 64, go over the bridge on Jordan Lake. The Seaforth entrance is on the left.

Vista Point
The entrance to Vista Point is on North Pea Ridge Road/SR 1700. Traveling west on US 64, pass the lake and take a left at the first traffic light onto North Pea Ridge. This road leads into Visit Point.

Robeson Creek
The entrance to Robeson Creek is off US 64 at Hanks Chapel Road. Traveling west on US 64, cross the bridge over the Haw River and turn left at Hanks Chapel Road, which leads to the entrance.

Poplar Point
To reach Poplar Point from US 64, turn south on Beaver Creek Road/SR1008. The park entrance is on the right.
