The Doctoral Students Association (DSA) is the official organization of the PhD students attending School of Information and Library Science. It was formed in 1999, as a body providing representation for the doctoral students and candidates at SILS. All doctoral students, full and part-time, are automatically members of the DSA. The DSA represents the special interests of the doctoral students and concerns pertaining to the doctoral studies program at SILS. It also works towards improving communication among doctoral students, masters students, and faculty. The DSA participates in the governance of SILS, and sends representatives to most SILS committees. We elect our officers annually in November, and hold monthly meetings.
Should you have any questions concerning the DSA or the doctoral program, please contact any of the DSA officers listed below.
