Bio:
I am a fourth year PhD student at the School of Information
and Library Science at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
My research interest focuses on software usability testing, mental models,
information organization, human errors in HCI, and research methods.
In particular, I am fascinated by the cognitive and affective reactions
involved in people's information searching process, as well as the effects
of information structures on people's information searching behavior.
My current project investigates people's mental models of the Web as
an information retrieval system and mental models' effects on people’s
behavior patterns in the open Web environment.
