Course taught: INLS 490-153, Introduction to Programming in PHP (http://www.ils.unc.edu/courses/2009_spring/inls490_153/). The course was taught in classroom in 2008 and 2009, and will be taught online in Spring 2010.

Responsibilities: I designed and prepared all teaching materials, including lecture notes, in-class exercises and assignments, for this brand new 3-credit graduate-level course in our school. I also give lectures on weekly basis, evaluate students’ work, carry out mid-term and final exams, etc.

Responsibilities:  work on projects related to video retrieval, video surrogation (the Open Video Project), and video preservations (VidArch Project); conduct user studies; write research reports; maintain and administer Open Video Project databases; etc.

Responsibilities: 

  1. Develops Windows and other Platform applications;
  2. Handles implementation-lvel design, codeing, testing including conceptualization;
  3. Brainstroms and generates new product ideas;
  4. Develops prototypes;
  5. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Software Developed (Individual Project):

1. PDF Tool: A tool for creating FlipBooks from .pdf pages or documents;

2. Personal Library 1.0: Help users organize (save, categorize, remove, view by category, etc.) their FlipBook collections and manage downloads and online magazine subscriptions;
