Lyrics
Needle's eye, thou dost supply
The threat that runs so truly;
Many a beau, have I let go
Because I wanted you.

Because I wanted you,
Because I wanted you,
Many a beau, have I let go
Because I wanted you.

Note from E.L. Simons (1952): Note written by grandmother Simons -- "Boys and girl would catch hands together and hold them up, while others would form a ring and pass under them. When a girl passed under, that a boy wanted, the hands were brought down on each side of her and the boy kissed that girl. Then a new couple took over."
